Trash Bins Notice

WEEKLY TRASH PICK-UP:

The Bureau of Sanitation services four automated containers: black (for household refuse), blue (for recyclables), green (for yard trimmings) containers. Containers must be placed at the curb by 6:00a.m.on the day of collection, and removed no later than 8:00p.m.on the day of collection. If you have any questions concerning your City issued containers or would like to inquire about our other services, please call us at 1-800-773-2489. OLYMPUS PROPERTY OWNERS ASSOCATION REQUIRES THAT YOU COMPLY WITH THE FOLLOWING:

1. Trash receptacles are to be kept inside your property no sidewalks/driveways/ out of view from the street.
2. Only city trash receptacles: black, green and blue are placed on the street on Wednesdays for Thursdays pick up  (communicate this to your house staff and landscaper)
3. Trash receptacles are to be removed no later than the evening of the collection day. (Los Angeles city ordinance – do not leave your cans out, it’s an eyesore)

4. No trash receptacles on the street on holidays.  they will not be collected (postponed one day after holidays)

Remember: only trash in black container; only yard trimmings in green container; only plastics, cans and glass in blue bin.
